I had to share this experience about Newegg.com and their Shipping provider Purolator.
It all started with I bought a product from Newegg. And the company is legit and and shipping is worse.1t i bought a computer monitor on May. it was eyecare monitor with really sensitive hardware on it.
They posted it they shipping it using Up but suddenly sending my monitor via Purolator and their delivery guys shipping and handing is so unprofessional.
1st monitor i bought got start flicking because if bad handling then. i talk to Newegg and ask a replacement and they accepted it and another 15 days went by.. because now i have t wait right
oh by the way if you are live in Canada when you return product even New egg offer you RMA you have to pay for shipping labels, and you waste time for going back and forth it not worth it..
anyways i had to do it. then after about almost 20 days i see new our shipping to my doors.. i was waiting for the new arrive and i just saw the Purolator guy through the monito to the front seat and then he went down and go to next house.. and then he very carelessly grab it and accident drop it middle of the road and i seen all the incident..
i did not had a camera t recorded it though.. so i just ran into my door and try to talk to the delivery guy and ask him why you handle it careless ly.. he just gave me side eye and said i don't care you can claim it....
so now they brig this insurance to handle these fragile items carelessly? hah
i think something big going on contacts with these big shipping companies and online stores like Newegg..I said to my self i m going to fight for fair business..
so my Banq eye care monitor finally on my hands with so much damage to the box..
so i had shock to se it which i paid for... right way i contacted Newegg and ask for something fair need to be done...
Meanwhile i fill the claim form for Puralator and send it after few days they reply me back with saying
They had a contract with newegg so i have to contact new egg for claim so i again contact new egg and explain that i did a claim for bad shipping and handing to reclaim the price so they say show them phots and i send them all the phots i had
But at few conversation went and they agree to pay mine a refund and few days went by they seems like no refund the claim. then i had few back and forth calls conversation with their support they start to neglect and keep asking me sending damaged phots of inside the monitor.. since box covered with styrofoam insulation there no visible damage on the monitor but it is very sensitive monitor and it start flickering again.. Damage had being does because of band handing a fragile product.
i feel bad about whole experience i decide to share it with online world. This is very unfair situation for average people like us to deal with big companies bad shipping. i hope if someone sees this post and understand the consequences and help some home to decide.
